Academic Integrity Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Ocevalon is built around learning, so honesty matters. On Ocevalon:

Expected

  • Credit the sources of ideas, data and text you share.
  • Be clear about what is your own work and what is not.
  • Describe your qualifications and experience truthfully.
  • Treat a discussion as a discussion: posts are not peer-reviewed research. Mark work in progress and unpublished work clearly in your profile.

Not allowed

  • Plagiarism or claiming someone else's work as yours.
  • Fabricated research findings, data or citations.
  • Sharing live exam questions or answers, or offering or asking for help to cheat in an assessment.
  • Writing or taking assessments for someone else (contract cheating) or impersonating someone in an assessment.

AI-generated content

If you use AI tools to help write or research, check the facts and references yourself, and follow the rules of your school, university or the activity you are taking part in, including any rule to say when AI was used.

If you see a problem

Report it (see Reporting and Complaints). We may remove content and act on accounts that break these rules.
